Everyone wore heavy coats, and now the crazy evening at Diamondback that made national sporting news is fondly referred to as the Tundra Bowl. |

1. Our Big Lucky Winner of the Month: Our lucky winner of the month is
Anne M. who will receive a $25.00 Diamondback Gift Certificate. Thank
you, Anne, for giving us your e-mail so you could get this wonderful e-mail
and we hope you enjoy your dinner at the Diamondback!
2. Straight from the Garden. Produce from Minglewood, our local gardener,
is back at the Diamondback. This month some of our recipes will include
locally grown Tatsoi, MeiQuing and Pea Shoots. (If you order rib-eye every
time you're in, well, just move down to #3). This spring and summer we will
continue to try to source locally grown, organic ingredients whenever
possible. It's true: fresh ingredients just taste better.
3. Congratulations Wake Graduates (and those who aspire to Graduate)...
We thank all of the families who will be at the Diamondback this month for
Graduation events.
4. Sundae Sundays make Kids Happy Scoops of ice cream dribbled with
warm fudge topped with a homemade brownie made with Belgian
chocolate. Not bad for $1.00! Yes, children can have this delicious sweet
treat every Sunday for just $1.00.
5. "Make Your Own Salad" Craze - We don't know if it's the 60 ingredients
on our Make Your Own Salad Menu or if it's the Palm Beach Chopping Method
or what... but our Make Your Own Salads continues to be wildly popular.
Come see for yourself what people are talking about.
6. If Our Walls Could Talk - This month they'd probably be talking about the
gorgeous art work that is now displayed on them. Come take a look and if
you like, take one home with you.
Currently on cafe side:
Ellen Christian (this is Ellen's first commercial show), Frank Rowland, Sally
Corpening and Kay Hutchinson. Bar side: Ralph Calhoun, Sherry Paylor and
Alice Bess from Associated Artists. We thank all of these incredibly talented
artists for making our walls look so beautiful.
7. We'd be happy to cater to you. We've seen many of you lately at parties
we've been catering. Many people are surprised because they didn't know
about our catering side and the variety of food options we offer for large
events. If you are planning a party, or maybe just if you think you might
want to have a party, please download our Party Pack. It's free and has all
of our menu items like the divine Tuna Tartare that we had to refill the
