1. Grill-Ready Platters - Convenient & low-cost
For you Dads (and Moms) who want to grill out -- but not have to do all the
of time-consuming shopping & prep work -- we have a great, low-cost new
solution for you:  Grill-Ready platters from the Diamondback.  Just call and
order 24 hours in advance. Choose from:

The Daddy (Serves 4) $25: 4 half-pound seasoned Certified Angus ground
chuck hamburgers, choice of cheese, green leaf lettuce, sliced tomatoes,
purple onions, buns + choice of potato salad, cole slaw or black bean salad

The Mom (Serves 4) $25:  4 marinated, 6 oz boneless skinless chicken
breasts, green leaf lettuce, sliced tomatos, purple onions, buns + choice of
potato salad, cole slaw or black bean salad  

The Kid (Serves 4) $20:  kid friendly party platter that includes your
choice of Nathans 100% all beef hotdogs or 1/4 pound Certified Angus
Ground Chuck hamburger meat + buns, fresh fruit or apple sauce

The Surfer (Serves 4) $55:  4 pieces of salmon (6 oz) or yellow fin tuna (8
oz) + simple green salad + your choice of potato salad, cole slaw or black

The Cowboy (Serves 4) $65.00:  Four 12 oz rib-eye steaks (trimmed and

2.  Chef's Cooler-Pack Service
Start your road trip right! Just bring us a clean, empty cooler and we'll
pack it with party food:  fresh meats, seafood, soups, appetizers and
whatever else you choose.  Your cooler will be prepared by Diamondback
chefs -- so you have restaurant quality food at a surprisingly reasonable
price.  Choose from:
  • U.S.D.A. prime cut steaks (trimmed and seasoned)
  • prepared seafood (with seasoning packs)
  • fresh, local salad greens washed and ready to go with your choice of
    65 other ingredients
  • a large selection of appetizers, soups and sauces
  • Delicious, attractive side dishes ready or ready to be slipped into
    the oven
  • Dessert items
  • Specialty mixers, beer and wine
  • Other menu items of your choice!  

Please note:  please allow 72 hours advance notice for Cooler-Pack orders.  
Cooler drop-off and pick-up is from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.  Give this a try and

The Diamondback Grill’s first call to cater for Southern Living
magazine came in 1996. The request was to provide a
complimentary lunch-oriented snack for 700 people for the grand
opening of a Summer Idea House in Charlotte. The catch was
their budget only allowed $2.50 per person, and they hoped we
might be able to be more creative than serving hotdogs. Owner
Murphy Gregg recommended a sun-dried tomato & pesto
focaccia, a gazpacho with a cilantro lime sour cream, and a
vegetarian black bean chili with red, white and blue tortillas, and
the folks in Charlotte were thrilled. Our next call from
Southern
Living
was to cater a large gala with quite a different budget,
however it’s because of our first effort on their behalf that we still
continue to receive referrals…so just ask us, we may turn the
unlikely into quite a delicious reality.
